Dieter Rams’ Ten Principles Poster
Design Bibliothèque
Back in the early 1980s, Dieter Rams became concerned by the state of the world. Aware that he was a significant contributor to that world, he asked himself an important question: is my design good design?
Rams created his ten principles for good design and nearly 30 years on this still holds strong. To celebrate the opening of the exhibition ‘Less and More’ we asked creatively-led graphic design consultancy, Bibliothèque to create a poster of his ten principles.
Rather surprised no one had featured this yet! You can get your copy here for £25.00.

Wow, been wondering whether these beauts were going to be on sale.
Have never gone through such a hassle buying a poster before. The Vitsoe online shop leaves a lot to be desired. Well worth it though. I have reserved a good spot for the poster at home
Very nice indeed, although to have it framed you are looking at a bespoke job and if it’s anything like the quote I got for the framing of my Farrow Hacienda* poster it will cost more like £150 + £25 for the poster.
*Hacienda poster still in it’s tube by the way!!
Brilliant work. Will order my copy right away.

It could be worse
Let’s face it- if a poster has been designed by Bibliothèque, you will always reserve a spot for it at home
Helv,
But…. That is a one time investment and it will ensure your poster stays in pristine condition for years to come – and trust me you’ll want to keep it in pristine condition because in 50+ years time, this could be as valuable as an original Vorm Gevers. You never know…
