Design Bravo Charlie Mike Hotel

Bravo Charlie Mike Hotel is a Lima Oscar November Delta Oscar November based graphic design and branding consultancy. In addition to relaunching their site with lots of new projects (if you haven’t noticed already) they’ve also come up with a rather striking approach to the “generic portfolio” shot.

  1. Those orange lines are awsome

  2. Very nice, great way of framing the work as well as working as an identity system.

  3. What a lovely and fresh approach to the grid system.

  4. I agree with Nick, they should incorporate that idea into their identity systems.

Wow these are just incredible, although I had a sneak preview of it earlier.

is photographing your own work on a grey background, the new ‘holding your poster up whilst standing behind it’? it seems so.

Photographing your work on a grey background has more to do with the science behind light and colour interaction, rather than it being a fad. Ask any photographer and I’m sure they’ll give a page long explanation on the significance of background colour. Having said that though, you are a right, there will be some studios that choose grey as their background colour purely for aesthetic reasons.
