Build

This promotional brochure for photographer Timothy Saccenti is a prime example of sexy/classic Build at it’s best. Hopefully Michael acknowledges my compliment and sends me a copy just in time for Christmas, or I could just pop over to Blanka and buy it for a measly £40 quid ;)

Yorkshire’s finest export, up there with Jimmy Saville :D

  2. Thanks David–
Promo One is still one of my favourite projects of ours, Promo Two will be released in early ’09 (Tim has some beautiful new images to show). We’ve just finished a catalogue for Commonwealth as well that uses Tims pictures, he’s a bit of a star.

    No doubt :)

    Michael,

Nice to hear from you. Promo One is a fantastic achievement and I’m sure Promo Two will be no different. As for the Commonwealth catalogue, you know who to send the exclusive pictures to ;)

  4. I am a proud owner of one of these. A great piece of design and expertly printed by Generation Press!

  5. Best £40 I spent,

  6. The Build site is one of those sites that I can visit time and time again and notice something new that I missed the last time round even if there hasn’t been an update.

The added bonus of course is being able to see Michael’s work at actual pixel size.

There’s no denying the fact that Michael always gets it right when it comes to print ;)

I’ll probably end up buying a copy if there are any left. Hopefully I’m luckier this time because I previously “bought” a Dalton Maag book only to find that it was sold out!

Build’s site excels in that respect. There are quite a few portfolio sites that showcase the work at such as small size, that often the attention to detail is lost.
