Dowling are a Newark based agency with some cracking work in their portfolio. If I must choose a favourite piece however, then it has to be their identity for Derbyshire based, bespoke furniture design consultancy Lamerton. Solid, minimal and sexy – this is design porn at it’s best ;)

Thanks for this post David – just spent the best part of an hour drooling over the work on show – hats off to Mr Dowling – a VERY talented man indeed. Love the “unfortunately I’m afraid” in the personal section, just shows how hard it is to get a foot on the ladder when you first leave uni – never give up though – look where it got John Dowling!!
Think he’s just landed on my top 10 favorite designers list!
