‘Ladies and Gentlemen We Are Floating in Space’ Packaging
Design Farrow

Ladies and Gentleman we are floating in space the black edition. In production now, released November 16th. We’ll show you the real things once we have them, in the meantime here are our explanatory drawings.

I must admit the image in this post was a bit of tease even though it was quite obvious what this packaging was for. So it’s nice to see that Farrow have finally added some “explanatory drawings” to their frequently updated “blog” showing us what the final packaging will look like. Whilst I’ve never been a fan of Spiritualized, I may have to buy this just because I like the packaging. Look at the bright side though – I won’t have to worry about piercing the foil to get to the CD inside ;)

Is the top one the special edition and the bottom the one which will be widely released?

    Got this on preorder.

Ooooooh looks brilliant, it’s like the original, only in it’s going out clothes!!!!
I don’t even like the music Spiritualized make, but I too will have to have it on pre-order – Damn you Farrow!!!!!!!!!

I honestly don’t know. But I would assume that the top image is the special edition as it contains the same, single 12 disk tray the previous white edition had. I certainly know which one I want!

    Helv,

That’s exactly what I was thinking :) Spiritualized really aren’t my cup of (we all have different tastes what can I say) I just wish that Farrow would design packaging for some of the artists I like who make great music but have very uninspired album artwork/packaging ;)

Everything looks better in black :)

I actually love Spiritualized, so this packaging remix is just a plus. Regardless of taste, “Broken Heart” is undeniably the best song ever for wallowing in the misery of a break-up.
