“Gatefold album/CD design for the LA based musician Flying Lotus. Build/Saccenti commissioned a sculpture by Commonwealth, this was then shot in macro in various states of decay. Minimal typography highlights the beautiful photography.”

It’s rather sad to see this epic saga come to an end. But I can honestly say the this project (spanning 1 album & 3 EP’s) really was something special, that’s why I felt that it was only right to honor all those involved in the design/production of this seminal series of Gatefold albums/CD’s. Here’s to more in the future.

    Thanks David. We are putting the finishing touches to a CD release of the (Japan only at the moment) 3 EPs. Keep an eye out for it…

    No problem Michael. I’m not being gushy, but this particular piece of work has to be one of the more memorable collaborations I have seen in recent years. I can’t congratulate you enough on the quality of this series :)

    The design matches the music perfectly in that it’s pushing the boundaries. Great project. Just heard a forthcoming track on this weeks Benji B show, hopefully the next phase will include Build and Saccenti as well.
