Grafik Interview A Quick Word

Firstly, a big thank you to Caroline @ Grafik for this opportunity. I really wasn’t expecting to be given the “lead feature” i.e. the biggest image on the site – for that I am honored and humbled!

Secondly, I apologise for the numerous typos in the interview that make certain Youtube commenters look literate (some of you will know what I mean by this). Despite checking the piece multiple times, it was a long day and I was still in recovery mode from the flu; that’s my poor excuse ;) . Corrections will be made shortly (I’ve already emailed Caroline).

You may also be interested to know that a refreshed version of SI will be going live next week (hopefully). I’ll still be using the current theme, but there will be some noticeable changes that should hopefully improve the overall functionality of the site. It isn’t a complete redesign however, that will come later on in the year when I finally commission [insert studio name here] to design the SeptemberIndustry identity.

There are also 2 new Sessions in the works: one with a Swiss duo I’ve shown much love to in the past and the other with a London based consultancy who have been featured on this site more times than I can remember!

    Thank you Peter,

The torch will continue to burn brighter than ever before, you can be sure of that.
I forgot to add that “I still have one foot firmly in the world of graphic design with the utmost respect for what designers do every day.” But I think people get the idea :) .

By the way, thank you for sending the Hedi Slimane interview. Great read.

Awesome!! Your blog just plain rocks!!!!

My only wish is that you put out a book with all your posts and images. I guess I could take a day and grab all the images and post myself and throw them together in some doc… but unfortunately I dont think I have the time.
