Catalyst Invite
Design KentLyons

“This kicked off the Catalyst project. We created an invitation to a black-tie do at the Science Museum. The invite was for the CEOs of London\’s top 250 companies, and so it had to be striking, beautiful and very keepable.

We focused on using amazingly tactile materials. The invite itself is debossing on a flockage paper, and then printed in two colours on the reverse. The envelope was similarly good to hold, made from wire-embossed black colorplan, and printed on with white ink.”

If you’re a regular reader then you’ll know that KentLyons are no strangers to having their work grace the white, pristine, html walls of SeptemberIndustry (Noel likes to keep me in the loop). Nonetheless, this time round, not only do we get some brand spanking new work, we also get a new site – new, in the sense that it no longer runs on flash which means minimal loading times. Now, I know what you’re probably saying to yourself: the work featured in this post is a couple of years old – and quite right it is too, that said, its always nice to revisit some of their lovely albeit older print work before I go on to showcase some of their newer, more interactive stuff either on Friday or sometime next week. ;)
