Galleri Jonas Kleerup
Jonas Kleerup is one of Sweden’s most renowned art dealers. He is also a well-known musician and pop-culture contributor. Kurppa Hosk has worked with Jonas Kleerup since the start of the venture. Kurppa Hosk has developed Galleri Jonas Kleerup’s visual identity and provide art work for the gallery’s exhibitions and book productions. The aim was to create an identity that reinforced the sense of the fast, unpretentious approach to the art scene.
Typeface (gallery identity): Helvetica Neue

Villa Contemporary Art
Villa is a temporary pop-up store, based on a concept developed by gallery owner Jonas Kleerup in collaboration with Kurppa Hosk and architects Boys Don’t Cry. A contemporary art market and the place to go for the most recent and interesting art. Not a gallery, but an art market in its original sense. An ever-changing display of artworks showcases well-established artists next to rising stars. The visual identity reflects and reinforces the sense of the temporary pop-up store.

Artemisia 7
Graphic identity and packaging concept
for a range of smoking cessation products.
Something as boring as smoking cessation products should at least get a more attractive packaging. The strategy allowed us to move more towards a contemporary approach which was not linked to the tobacco industry.

No Early Birds
Per Söderberg is a renowned Swedish architect. The furniture collection No Early Birds is one of his most prominent works, comprising tables, stools, coffee-tables and shelf system all built on a beautifully crafted leg construction. Kurppa Hosk has developed the visual identity along with various brand applications. The symbol is a graphic interpretation of the characteristic leg construction.

East Capital
East Capital has a glorious story. Back in the late 90’s and at young age, the founders of this successful asset management company started out with lots of courage and a great vision of capitalizing on the growth they foresaw in Eastern Europe. At that time, few believed in them. Today East Capital manages over 5 billion Euros invested in Eastern Europe and China. Kurppa Hosk manages the East Capital brand and has developed their visual identity as well as a broad range of brand applications. We wanted to create an identity that reflected courage and foresight, with a rigid framework that still had room for playfulness and surprise.

Lars Wallin
Lars Wallin is Sweden’s Christian Dior. For the last 20 years Lars Wallin has been the uncrowned king of Swedish couture, dressing queens, princesses and the Swedish aristocracy. And now, at last, he is also launching a prêt-a-porter brand where Kurppa Hosk has developed the visual identity and various brand applications. The graphic identity will strengthen the origin and lead the viewer towards the new more modern Lars Wallin.

Mark Red is a consultancy firm focusing
on web optimization. Kurppa Hosk’s assignment
consisted of developing the new corporate identity that convey fresh ideas and ambition.

Some Interesting Facts about Kurppa Hosk
Prior to setting up the company, Creative Director Thomas Kurppa worked at Stockholm Design Lab from 2002—2007. Designer Titti Kurppa (Thomas’ sister) also worked at Stockholm Design Lab for a number of years; Senior Designer Oskar Kron has worked at Marque Creative and of course we all know Digital Creative Director Mr. Suprb AKA Andreas Pihlström.
