I must admit I’ve been a little behind the recent Marque updates with all these SI Special Features that have taken up my time! Nevertheless, I’ve finally taken the initiative to showcase their work (starting from the bottom and slowly making my way up) nice and big of course in the “mile-long scrolling” format you’ve all come to know and love ;) . Part 2 will most likely happen some time next week because I already have something big for Friday…
To the chaps at Marque: keep up the terrific work and thank you for showing your support by frequenting the site. ;)
Stay tuned and feel free to Subscribe, FFFFOUND! and follow SI on Twitter for your weekly dose of visual crack. ;)

As a place to live, Medini offers beauty, vitality and sustainability. As a place to do business, it has strong economic and geographical advantages. At the very southern tip of Malaysia, minutes from Singapore, Medini will be a new city – the flagship development within the region of Iskandar. Marque were tasked with creating the brand strategy and all communications materials for the development of
three key zones within this new city. The hibiscus is the national flower of Malaysia, and each petal represents each of the five zones in Medini. Brand workshops, positioning, tone of voice, photography, literature, mapping, through to a full campaign strategy for both on and offline, Marque consolidated the voice for this new habitat. Medini is one of the largest developments in Asia and will be completed over the next 10 years.

nemaworkshop is a team of architects, designers and thinkers who create spaces which are conceptually innovative and highly sensitive to cultural and social contexts. Marque were asked to produce a bold, crisp identity that was in keeping with the.
studio’s ethos while being aware of their location in New York’s Lower East Side. The studio’s website reinforces this bold identity and was built using an adaptation of the ‘Cargo’ content management system.
