IJsseldelta Identity
Design Matthijs van Leeuwen
“IJsseldelta is the area surrounding the Dutch city of Kampen. The Netherlands in 300 square kilometres, it’s a strikingly beautiful area. IJsseldelta has major ambitions as a tourist attraction. The visual identity intends to reflect the connection with the water by using the nautical alphabet of signalling flags, and heraldic symbols found in coats of arms of the local cities.”
Introducing, Matthijs van Leeuwen a Dutch designer who currently works at Amsterdam and Groningen based Designbureau G2K. If you’re already familiar with his work; great. On the other hand, if you aren’t, you’re definitely in for a treat…
