“Mode’s aim was to capture the essence of Adjaye’s architectural approach and translate these qualities interactively. The interactive ‘tone’ was explored and developed to create an almost effortless and seductive quality to the design, whilst providing a subtle backdrop to the work.
The design features Adjaye’s trademark and recognisable asymmetric detailing taken directly from actual building elevations, which is used to structure and reveal information. Additionally the design features a series of gradiated transitions to reveal projects /images, reflecting Adjaye’s sculptural use of light in his projects. A content management facility allows for continual‘in-house’ updates for ever changing news, publications and exhibition launches.”
Some of you may remember seeing a post I did on this website back in October 2008. To the thousands of you who probably haven’t, this is another excellent example of a website where all excess is pared away to reveal, or rather translate the pure essence of a client’s brand interactively.
