Mode

I embarked on an epic quest many years ago, to try and track down some of the many pieces of printed literature Mode designed for Dalton Maag. There were occasions when I was so close to the prize that I could taste it, only to find out that it was either “sold out” or “too valuable to give away”. Ultimately, my quest has so far proven to be fruitless and I am on the verge of giving up my search… Although you (dear reader) could be my saviour ;) Nevertheless, apart from trying to rob you of your DaMa merchandise, I just thought it would be nice to reacquaint/introduce yourselves to the quality work of Mode and I hope you all have a decent weekend.

  1. A note to all designers and agencies out there. DO NOT resize the viewers browser window. It will just piss them off and make they leave your site.

Antonio, it hasn’t bothered me that much, because there is usually a good reason for it. But I can understand how it can be annoying.

  3. After all these years of surfing the net, I still have to encounter a situation where a resize of the browser window was justifiable.

I agree with Antonio on this one, no need for a resize this time… Love their work though :)

  5. Antonio you hit the point . I completely agree that resize the browser window is quite annoying.

  6. I think if a new window that you are linked to (like Modes) opens at a reduced size, thats okay. But when the main browser window is adjusted (like Fabio Ongarato Design ((www.fabioongaratodesign.com.au))… well thats just plain rude.

I have no problem with a new window opening up at a reduced size either, but I do understand why resizing can get annoying – I was visiting this photographers site the other day and whenever I went back to the menu it kept resizing which got on my nerves!
