Mikael Simpson ‘Noget Laant’ Sleeve Design
Mikael Simpson´s fifth album is dark and melancholic, extremely evocative and intensely oppressive.
Simpson, once again establishes a special intimacy with the listener, who is sucked into his universe.
‘Noget Laant’ features soft and stout bass, subtle hissing drums, a distinctive piano sound and Simpson’s warm, deep and delicate bright voice which brings a hypnotic, polyphonic and refreshing quality to the record.

A Few Words from the Editor
If the name ‘Muggie Ramadani’ sounds familiar it should; all you have to do is look at these previous SI Special features to be reminded of this Danish gentleman’s talent and he’s still very much a one-man band! I really have nothing else to add here folks, because (and here comes a bona fide cliché) the work does all the talking.
