“The identity for Alan Yau’s upmarket Oriental eaterie was inspired by the undulating terraced terrain of the tea plantations of Long Jing in China. Equally customers might see in it a cloud of dim sum steam – the abstracted circular patterns of tea plant growth also invoke the impression of liquid.”

This is the “modern day classic” I was talking about last week ;) . To be honest with you I’ve held off featuring this project on SI for quite some time now simply because I didn’t have the right /images, or rather decent quality /images that weren’t iPhone grainy!

Ironically enough, the topmost image was found on FFFFOUND! during an evening session of browsing, but to my surprise it was only saved by 2 people?! So that really motivated me to showcase this outstanding project on SI because it’s work like this that needs to be seen and talked about.

If that wasn’t enough, I have even more North related stuff that may be of interest to you dear reader. Just RT this post (you are reading now) on Twitter to register your interest and I will consider showcasing more North goodness on SeptemberIndustry… ;)
