Progress Packaging x Inaria

One&Only Retail Sets
Design Inaria

SeptemberIndustry x Progress Packaging Edition 7 has come a lot sooner than I thought, so without further ado here are the juicy details of how the production process for this particular project went down:

The uncoated paper used was custom Pantone dyed to match One&Only’s brand guidelines and then foiled throughout with a three colour registered design. They were then sent to Progress Packaging’s top secret factories in China so that they would match other elements produced in Europe and South Africa. The complexity and registration of the design meant that this was one of the most demanding foiling jobs Progress had done to date.

To be brutally honest with you (like I was with Simon) I wasn’t particularly fond of this project to begin with, but it’s just starting to grow on me like it already has with the folks over at Design Project. Personal taste adside, you really have to admire the passion and dedication Progress have for their craft.
