“The London Museums Hub plays a key role in the development of a vibrant, diverse and sustainable museum sector. It is working towards making the region’s museums more relevant and enjoyable. To achieve this, the Hub is building on existing strength within partner museums in order to develop a concentration of expertise within the sector. This expertise is then disseminated to the regional museum community in order to deliver high quality museum services.
Brief: To produce a large scale map of London highlighting the number of museums the Hub are currently supporting. As this number is continually growing, the solution needed to allow for the information within the map to be updated regularly.
Solution: Heat bent transparent Perspex, screen printed to front and reverse to separate the map from the data. Each museum is listed with a number which can then be located on the map. These numbers have been applied as transfers to allow for further museums to be added at minimal cost and effort.
