Metalwork 2002 Exhibition Catalogue
Design Remake

“The Catalogue creates a syncopated visual rhythm through the use of a flexible typographic grid system. Each artist’s name is keyed to a dash at the fore edge of the book which functions as a tabular matrix as the reader progresses through the alphabetized catalogue.”

Remake is a graphic design practice based in Brooklyn, New York. They have just updated their website with a plethora of new content. Thanks to Michael for getting in touch.

Their work feels very European. Lovely work, good link.

  2. Yeah,

Agreed, great link – really love their minimal approach, very similar to Sea Design – my favorite studio!

Helv, I was rather surprised myself when I discovered that Remake were indeed based in NYC because it’s not everyday you see an American studio produce very European work.

    Very similar to SEA.
    Almost too similar…

I would say the similarity is like that of any other agency that has a pragmatic, modernist approach to their design work?!

It’s been a long time since I’ve been so inspired by a body of work!

These guys are at the very top of their game.

If you like Remake’s work, you’ll also appreciate Cartlidge Levene’s, I reckon!
