Fedrigoni UK – Arcoprint paper sampler
Design Design Project

“Design Project have created a new paper sampler for Fedrigoni to promote their extra white premium uncoated brand, Arcoprint . This new promotion comes in the form of a box containing a colour demonstration booklet – printed using fluorescent process colours. The box incorporates a textured blind embossing detail around the edges and comes in 2 different colour combinations. The accompanying booklet, illustrated throughout with colour saturated abstract images and blind embossing, shows how the surface properties of the material can offer excellent reproduction possibilities for almost any application.

The concept for the piece was inspired by ‘off-the-shelf’ pharmaceutical packaging – a format that uses straightforward presentation and unbiased guidance on contents. In this case it has been transformed into a highly designed object that explores the look and feel of this uncoated paper in printed form.”

Today marks the last day for the current layout of this site – the ‘Refresh’ is going live sometime tomorrow – and what better way to go out with a bang than to feature some exclusive new work from Leeds’ finest: Design Project! This new promotion for Fedrigoni is being launched in Leeds today (Wednesday 14th July 2010) and if you want to receive a sampler box, or register your attendance at the launch event in Leeds, just email your details to samples@fedrigoni.co.uk.

Thanks again to Andy @Design Project for this piece of fried gold.

Two: “Lovely as ever’s” what are the chances! I’m in firm agreement with you both – Design Project never cease to disappoint. This is one of the rare occasions I’ve seen Frutiger look so fresh and contemporary!

@David – I’d very much like to see this piece for Team you just mentioned ;)

  4. David, I’m going to miss this design. I liked it the moment you launched it, though I’m sure whatever’s next is going to be just as good, if not better. Keep up the good work.
