‘Living identity’ Internal Publication
Design Moving Brands

“‘Living identity’ encapsulates the philosophy of Moving Brands. The paper calls for a fresh understanding of the role of brands in a moving world, and declares that brands must learn to develop dynamic and compelling ways to interact with the rapidly evolving forms of connection, communication and commerce we see all around us. In keeping with this philosophy, Moving Brands have created a ‘living’ cover for the paper which uses augmented reality technology to bring their latest views to life.”

As you may have figured out from the title of this article, this is merely a taster of the upcoming Moving Brands Session. These particular /images just show you some appetizing snippets of an internal project of theirs – the publication of their first book/paper entitled ‘Living identity’. What really makes this project special however is the AR cover they developed with Renderheads which quite literally blew me away.
This really is taking print to the next level and (as I mentioned to Camilla) it brings us a step closer to re-enacting that famous scene in Minority Report ;) .
Try it out for yourself (if you haven’t already): movingbrands.com/livingidentity

Thank you once again to Camilla for the /images and blurb.

was there the other night, great evening, very good design…
the technology used is nothing new, but they have applied it well

and at the end of the day, not many ‘design studios’ have used this thus far..
    so fair play to them.

everyone should get a coder its the future

Agreed the technology isn’t completely new, but it will be interesting to see how branding agencies exploit the phenomenon in months/years(?) to come.

Here another particularly fine example I found:

    Scary.

Quite right Emir, the technology isn’t new, but it supports the concept of a book that continues to ‘live’ really well.

That MINI AR Ad is great. Thanks for sharing.
The sad thing with technology is that it’s only a matter of time before something even better comes along!
