LG – BOOK
Brief
Create a book that showcases the best product designs and innovations from the LG European Design Studio between 2008 and 2010. The book will be used as an internal archive that celebrates all work, including pieces that will ultimately be produced and those that won’t. There will be a small run of 50 books that will be given to key stakeholders within the business in the European HQ and Global HQ in Korea.
Rationale
The content of the book is highly confidential. Many of the products shown in the book are either innovations or concepts. The book also gives insight into the design process used by the team in the studio. For this reason we decided to employ a secret dossier style with each book presented in an individually number-stamped envelope. We created a poster to accompany the book, also individually number-stamped with silhouettes of the key products.

BAKERROSS – IDENTITY
Brief
Create an identity for Boutique Notting Hill Estate Agency, Baker Ross and roll it out across stationery collateral.
Rationale
BakerRoss deal with high net worth individuals that require a discreet, high-end service. This was to be reflected in their identity. Clean, considered, established and reliable. Extra attention was paid to the print and stock used for the business card, with a debossed panel on both sides of dual ply card.

This is a surprisingly small feature for a Friday considering SI’s usual run of Friday features, but with work this delicious, does it really matter? (to you it probably does ;)
Besides, today I’m delivering 2 features for the price of one see here and if you read the project blurb for the LG book above, you’ll understand why I can’t share any more images of this lovely book. Enjoy and have a great weekend folks.
Thank you once again to Nick @ Territory for making this feature possible. For more info on this rather enigmatic London based studio, feel free to drop them a line.
If you’re new here, don’t forget to Subscribe, FFFFOUND! & follow SI on Twitter for your weekly dose of visual crack. ;)
