Some new typographic bits and pieces from The International Office. As this is the first time they’ve ever graced the front page of SI, I thought I’d feature a small selection of their work just to help you get acquainted with this promising New Zealand based studio.
Some interesting work, but it’s a shame they don’t hang their quotes.

I cannot even explain how much I enjoy this work. I’ve been looking at it every few hours for the last few days.

Shame on me for providing a critique, I just don’t think that every designer that uses the International style in some shape or another should be placed on a pedestal.
I still stand by the comment that the work has merit, some of it is quite thoughtful and beautiful.
